- 1 cup flour (all-purpose)
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 apples (large, peeled, cored and chopped into bite size pieces)
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts, optional)
- 2 Tbsp. rolled oats (approx., for topping)
