I thoroughly appreciate this dough recipe; easy to make and delivers a delicious product. Am amazed that I never thought 'outside the box' when i think of the years I made these and cut and rolled each one always attempting perfection, lol; when all along I could have simply rolled the dough and sliced. With this 'new' method, I have, if it could be put into my processor and come out edible, I have made it - apricot, fig, apple, etc. Am glad I did only half of my first batch with the applesauce as it was thinner than I like, could be consistency is different in different brands. Am so excited with this recipe as I enjoy the making and devouring of these morsels.
