Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion (large)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 cans tomato sauce (15 oz cans)
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes (14.5 oz cans)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons basil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups noodles (Elbow, uncooked)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)

    Directions

    1. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, brown beef.
    2. Add Onions and Garlic and cook until onions are translucent.
    3. Add water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, soy sauce, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and bay leaves. Stir well to combine.
