- 28 oz. crushed tomatoes (we like Pastene)
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 5.5 oz. V-8 Juice
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 3 Parmesan rinds (Fresh, about 4 inch squares, optional)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. mint (fresh chopped, if using dried, use half that amount)
- 2 Tbsp. basil (fresh chopped, if using dried, use half that amount)
- 1 Tbsp. oregano (fresh chopped, if using dried, use half that amount)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 12 oz. noodles (dry elbow macaroni)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

My American Chop Suey came out great! It was delicious, and I like it better the second day.

This was so delicious. It definitely feeds a large family. I just doubled the recipe to feed a family of 8.
