- 1 pie crust
- 5 apples (sour, peeled and cut into fourths)
- 4 eggs
- 200 mL whipping cream
- 200 mL milk
- 200 grams sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
- Flatten the piecrust slightly so that it does not rise more than necessary and place into the oven until it begins to brown, approximately 10 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
- Slice each apple section into thin slices, but without cutting all the way through.. Place the apple pieces into the pie crust on their sides so that the cuts are seen.
- Beat the eggs together with the sugar, add the milk, cream, and vanilla, and pour into the piecrust. Bake for 30 minutes, until firm.
- Mix the marmalade with a little water, heat slightly, and brush over the top of the tart.
