- 3 medium potatoes
- 150 grams frozen peas (or fresh)
- 1 onion (large, sliced)
- 1 tsp. crushed garlic
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp. red chili powder (Kashmiri, – I prefer this as it is less spicy but you can use normal red chili powder)
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 pinch asafetida (Hing)
- 2 green chilli (silted)
- 6 Tbsp. vegetable oil (I used 50:50 Sunflower oil and mustard oil)
- salt (to taste)
- 1 cup warm water
- 3 coriander leaves (for garnishing, optional)
