- 3 medjool dates (pitted and softened if necessary by soaking in very hot water for 5 minutes)
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. almond butter (unsweetened, creamy)
- 3 Tbsp. coconut aminos
- 3 Tbsp. sesame oil (pure)
- 3/4 tsp. ginger (fresh grated)
- 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 3 scallions (light green and white parts, thinly sliced)
- 1/4 cup raw almonds (chopped, toasted in a skillet with 1/2 tsp sesame oil and sea salt to taste)

The sauce was very liquidy and didn’t go well over zucchini noodles. I would’ve preferred something thicker. Unfortunately any type of thickening agent would not have been whole30 applicable,
