This is a great pie crust recipe. At last, I have learned the secret(s). Everything has to be cold & less is more. I put all the ingredients in the freezer for a few minutes . I even cut up frozen butter into little pieces with a butcher knife. I used only ice water (ice, then measure. I followed the instructions to the LETTER. The crust was perfect. I made perfect mixed fruit galettes on my first attempt. The crust was buttery and flakey, reminding me of Grandma's pie of my childhood. I'm hooked.
