I loved this soup! Very tasty I added a few more meatballs and I skipped the lime zest and lime juice. I did add a little lime in my own bowl tasted good. Will definitely make again. The flavor in the meatballs was amazing! The Mexican oregano is a must!

Make sure you let it sit for an hour before serving. It’s delicious, we didn’t put in the lime zest like other people in the comment section suggested that we leave out.

Great! Meatballs are delicious. Flavor or broth can be improved. Would use less lime juice next time.

it was the best soup I've ever had... or at least a runner up to grandma's Schmaltz made matzo ball soup. I'm one of those people that stockpiles food in the house, I could not stop eating this soup, for about a week I forgot about every other lunch possibility I had, my husband never even got any. Then I made it again so he could try it, and I ate it all again. I recently tried another albondigas recipe on yummly, and it doesn't even come close to this one.
