- 1 baby back ribs (slab)
- 2 cups all purpose flour (for batter)
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour (for dusting ribs)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 12 oz. beer
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. coarse kosher salt
- 1 tsp. black peppercorns (freshly cracked)
- 1 tsp. chili powder (ground)
- 1 Tbsp. seasoning (umami seasoning blend)
- 1 Tbsp. granulated garlic (or garlic powder)
- 5 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- cooking oil spray

Directions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Use a paper towel to pat as much moisture from the rack of ribs as possible. Trim and cut the pieces along the rib bones and set them aside.
- In a large bowl, add the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, seasonings, eggs, and beer. Mix the combined ingredients until the beer batter is smooth. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
