- 2 yellow potatoes (cubed and boiled)
- 2 tsp. rice bran (or Canola Oil)
- 1/2 tsp. fennel seeds
- 1/4 tsp. fenugreek seeds
- 1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp. seeds (Onion, / Kalonji / Nigella Seeds optional)
- 2 green cardamom
- 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp. asafoetida
- 1 red onion (sliced)
- 1 tsp. ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp. Garam Masala (Punjabi, see note 2.)
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp. chilli powder (/ Cayenne)
- salt (to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. mango pickle (any kind that you get from an Indian store. It has to be the Indian type of pickle)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (to garnish, optional)

Added some tomato sauce. No cumin. Also added water to make it More saucy .
