I made it in a waffle iron and ate it as an open face BLT. Great bread option! I think I will experiment with adding shredded cheese to the batter

After I made this I grilled my sandwich in a small skillet. I was weary of this recipe because I don’t love the taste of almond flour. This taste like an egg with a bread consistency. I would eat it again.

Not bad, especially when you finish it off in a pan with bitter. Made this 2x already and will make it again. Next time, I’m using sugar free jelly on it and having it with eggs and bacon for breakfast.

I make this bread almost daily. Getting into the keto mindset is letting go of the old normal way of eating and accepting a new normal. For sure this bread does not taste like the normal glutinous bread you buy at market but it sure does help to create a new normal version of bread that is tasty and is more healthy for sure. Using blanched almond flour makes a world of difference in the texture of the bread. I only use a pinch of sat as well. I always toast this bread and use butter on it liberally!!

This is sooo good! I make it all the time. It has great texture. I do just a dash of salt as the baking powder already makes it a bit salty. But you can add all kinds of stuff to flavor it. Cheese, onion or garlic powder, spices... I will add agave nectar to make it sweet and it’s amazing! Like your own little sponge cake.
