I love the recipe, but the bread has a fairly strong ammonia, smell and taste to it when it’s done. I’ve read that if you add apple cider vinegar or lemon juice at a ratio of three to one for the baking powder, it might help. I tried it, and it helped a little, but the ammonia flavor was still there. I wish I could figure out how to get around it.

This recipe is amazing, adding a tbsp on almond milk makes it taste a lot like actual bread. However I like it without almond milk too! Great with almond butter or peanut butter!

I was definitely skeptical, I’ve had a few keto breads but this was far & away the best. I will literally be making these everyday. The only thing I changed (due to previous reviews) was the salt content I just added a pinch. Came out perfect for me.

Something I can make at work to fill me up gets 5 stars from me. Pan frying turns it more crumpety although next run I’ll see how it turns out in the sandwich press. Lots of options to add flavours and fiddle with some extras like fine chopped olives or herbs

I didn't have Almond flour so I ground some almonds, Although the almond flour seemed a little coarse the bread came out very well. It was a little eggy, as some others have said, but a finer dry flour would have prevented that. I still enjoyed it, toasting it with butter and Jam, great for breakfast!

Quick & easy which will make the work week lunches easier; however, next time I'm leaving out the salt and will just use salted butter.

So good! For not being able to eat bread, this is a perfect substitute it’s a bit on the eggy side, but it’s not unpleasant. I added onion powder for taste and I put it in the toaster after I sliced it in half to stiffen it up. It’s perfect for lunch sandwiches and it really does only take 90 seconds. I usually make it in the morning for my lunch while I eat my breakfast.

Super easy. I did not add salt, used salted butter. Barely taste the egg. Perfect sandwich size
Also tried with coconut flour - a lot denser and drier, might need additional liquid for proper texture. Taste was very good, even less eggy.

quite good. I used half the salt called for and it was still salty, so will cut further.
Served with bacon and smashed avocado. Yum.

This was a simple and delicious recipe. I truly loved it. However, Yummly needs to adjust its nutritional information. It seem to have forgotten the butter in the recipe and should be 280 cal and not 180 cal.

Turned out great! I used 4 tbsp almond flour and salted butter instead of adding salt and it was delicious!

It worked. I couldn't believe how fast it was and how much it looked like real bread once I cut it in half. Unfortunately I didn't like the taste and the smell much (too eggy). After the first one I thought I'd give some egg substitutes a try and they all failed miserably. Is there a way to do this without using an egg?

It is amazing on how easy and delicious this recipe is. You can’t even tell the difference between this and most other non-keto breads.

I liked this very much. Because the first bread I tried was too eggy, I took a chance and added an additional tbsp almond flour. I'm glad I did as this bread did not taste eggy at all! I am going to try to toast it next time.

Absolutely wonderful. Made a McDonald's type breakfast sandwich. Cooked 1 minute 45 seconds in my microwave. My container was only 3.5 inches (ramekin). Will be a breakfast staple. Thanks

Great consistency and honestly the best bread I’ve had since starting Keto! There was little too much salt for me so will probably reduce the salt content next time. Definitely worth the 2 minutes it takes to make!

Fantastic. Super easy, great texture and great tasting. I may try adding a 1/4 tsp. of cream of tartar next time to get rid of the eggy taste.
