Very tasty and easy, we used orange juice with pineapple in it, honey bar b q sauce and orange zest over jasmine rice. We also egg washed our chicken before dredging it in flour and bread crumbs mixed, which helped the flour stick better. My 12 year old daughter loved it, as did my husband. Will make again.

Ok. The flour wasn’t great for Frying. Taste was not as well as expected but very clean and very organic. But I make this again? Medium.

This is a delicious recipe and the closest I’ve ever come to takeout Chinese Orange Chicken. So good!

I doubled the sauce. I added 1 cup of brown sugar, used blood oranges, and only zested 2 (of the doubled) oranges. I served it with rice. It was delicious.

Turned out great - substituted rhe oranges out for orange juice and it made a nicer sauce

It was okay. The zest was new for my son and I and it was kind of weird but good at the same time. For flavoring. It was kind of messy and didn’t come out like that picture lol. Overall it was okay.

Tasty, and fairly easy to make. We had this with jasmine rice, and sweet and sour broccoli salad. Nice for a change.

You need to choose a good barbeque sauce, otherwise you won't taste anything other than that.

It hits the spot when you’re desperate and very easy to make with few ingredients. The taste is similar to orange chicken but you can tell the difference.

It was really good. I would have liked to have a measurement of how much fresh orange juice to use. I think my oranges were a little too big because it was really orangy. Also you have to be careful with the breading otherwise it will get soggy and not stick well. Again, even with these mistakes it still turned out very tasty. Fun easy recipe for amateur Chefs.

Very orangey and got sick of the flavor after a couple bites. It needs some more ingredients and less orange and then it would probably taste fine :)

I double everything, It was bad. I wish I had only used 1 orange zest. I like the idea of someone else’s to add brown sugar

Tastes Amazing! Only added 1 orange zest instead of 2 (Still squeezed 2 oranges for the juice). Also, I added sugar for sweetness :)

It was good! But I felt the sauce was a bit powerful maybe I should try a different type of BBQ sauce next time! (I used Baby Rays). Oranges were good. I doubled the recipe but put only two oranges in it. And I added brown sugar to the recipe. 8/10. I also used the recommended cabbage fried rice recipe . It went great with Yum Yum sauce. But cook the cabbage longer before putting in rice.

Yeah, good. Used a bourbon bbq sauce, was nice. Maybe my oranges were a bit too big, it was a bit heavy on the acid but good, yeah. No one complained and some even said, “hey, ... good, yeah.”

Fantastic recipe! Only changed three things; 1. Coated chicken pieces in flour. Coated in egg. Coated in flour again. 2. I added 1 cup of brown sugar 3. I grated both orange zests.

Just didn't taste the way I imagined orange chicken to taste. I think it may have been because of the barbecue sauce.
