- 16 oz. sugar snap peas (cooked, we use Green Giant fresh, steam-in-pack sugar snap peas that are quickly cooked in the microwave – see note)
- 1 Tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce (such as Kikkoman Light, or a gluten-free soy sauce or tamari to make this recipe gluten-free)
- 1 tsp. toasted sesame oil
- 2 tsp. relish (Sweet and Spicy Pepper, more or less to taste, or substitute 1½ teaspoons seedless red raspberry jelly and ½ teaspoon chili garlic paste, as directed in the notes section below)
- 1 pinch kosher salt (only if needed)
- black sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
