Excellent! It was very spicy! I did take a little longer to make than listed, almost an hour. I include the gathering and measuring of ingredients and the time it takes for it to come to a boil. I didn't have the Chipolte or Ancho chili powders so I added another tablespoon of chili powder and a teaspoon of cayenne.

Used Chile powder, Cayenne powder and Habanero Powder on this one. Used bell pepper and split the beans between Great Northern and Black beans. No salt needed and came out great.

Simple meal with great flavors. Easy to make your own. Quick weeknight supper. Freezes and keeps well! Have made this countless times.

Excellent, as written a bit spicy for us, but that is easily adapted. It's very light and super easy. I serve this with rice, cornbread and shredded cheese.
