- 1 1/2 lb. pork loin chops (4-6 chops seasoned with salt and pepper)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 16 oz. mushrooms (stemmed and sliced)
- 1 shallot (medium, peeled and chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1 cup low sodium chicken stock
- 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch (mixed with 1 teaspoon water until smooth*)

Followed the recipe other than using brandy instead of bourbon. Turned out great and we’ll definitely make it again.

This was very good. Didn't have bourbon so I used white wine. My husband even commented on how tender they were! Will be making again! Thanks!
