- 1/2 sweet pepper
- 2 1/2 sausage links (fat Italian, casings removed, crumbled, and lightly and briefly sauteed browned as it will finish cooking in the baking dish)
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk (or 2%)
- salt (and pepper to taste)
- sausage seasoning (* as sprinkle of homemade)
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 5 1/2 eggs (larges, thoroughly whisked)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove garlic (through garlic press)
