This recipe was so delicious! I did make my own garam masala from another recipe though.

Great! I Substituted black pepper for the cayenne. Spice level was perfect compared to the store bought stuff I purchased last week. I'm sure it had way less sodium too!

Great as a base! Added way more veggies; cauliflower, celery and carrots as well as more ginger and spice and one more can of tomato sauce and coconut milk because it wasn’t wet enough. Did not add the cornstarch mixture just ate right away and simmered the remaining food for two hours to cook the vegetables a bit more and get a thicker stew. I basically just made my own version out of this.

I only used half of the cayenne recommended. I also used more veggies (green Bell pepper and cauliflower) and only 1 can of chickpeas. I didn’t use arrowroot or cornstarch. I finished it off with fresh squeezed lime.

It was pretty tasty! The flavor was less intense/deep than I was hoping for, but I would definitely make it again. Maybe more spices and more simmering time next time!

Good recipe. The mix of spices was excellent. Added extra vegetables: peas and cauliflower. Will make again.

This was alright, but it refused to thicken up. I added way more cornstarch than the recipe said but it was still soupy. I feel like that texture would have made all the difference.

This was so delicious! My vegan family really enjoyed it but I am sure it would be popular with non vegans too because it was just so tasty and full of flavour. We left the cayenne pepper out and it was still very spicy. We will make this again and put it on our list of favourites!
