I’ve cooked this several time and it is great! If you’ve never had this, I highly recommend it.

I've had this recipe for two years now and never made it, but today was the day lol. I cooked everything in the same put. I first browned my meat then added the onions and let that brown for 3 minutes. I added six cups of chicken broth and the potatoes. I cook that mixture until the potatoes were just about done I then added a cup and a half of heavy whipping cream and I actually used three cups of kale since I'm on my kale kick. I added salt and pepper to taste as well as a tablespoon of red pepper flakes. My picky 3 year older loved it and asked for more ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Will be making again.

Just like the one at OG. I added 2 more cups of broth and served with breadsticks.

Tasted great. Looking forward to tweaking it with diced carrots, mushrooms, and a spicy Italian sausage.

So easy to make and delicious! Added a little bacon and Parmigiano cheese when I served it.

I made it, but I only used 2 links of Italian sausage, and 4 cups of chicken broth. I added 1 can of evaporated skim milk instead of adding 1 cup milk. It was very good, and I will make again!

I used fresh homemade chicken broth, hot Italian sausage, and kale fresh from the garden. I also added small white beans and substituted creamed cashews for the milk. Using good sausage is imperative to this recipe since most of the flavor comes from the sausage. I will continue to use this as my base recipe to work from for this soup.

I’ve made this several times and each time we have enjoyed it. I did make a couple of changes by using Italian hot sausage and spinach instead of kale. We also sprinkled grated Pecorino Romano cheese in our individual bowls. I used tortellini instead of potatoes a couple of times.

I personally found the recipe itself rather bland, but I stuck to it. The only thing I did differently was liberally add grated parmesan cheese after placing in serving bowls. It did really improve the flavor. Would make again but would definitely go with my instincts and add more sausage, and cannellini beans as well. Was just a rather thin, bland soup on the stand alone scale.

Delicious And filling. Added a half block of creole an cheese because I didn’t have any whole cream only 2% milk and also added some Italian seasoning and kosher salt I would definitely make again

We loved it! I had to use ground pork/beef instead of sausage, browned, then added Italian spices. Had to use a shallot and a red onion. Added more Kale “Italian”. Used 1/2C heavy whipping cream and 1/2C whole milk, then splashed in more heavy cream. Made bread sticks like Olive Garden’s. We loved it!

Very tasty. I used spinach instead of kale but it turned out great. It needed a lot of salt and pepper but the recipe did say "to taste."
