- 1 red capsicum (bell pepper)
- 250 mL water
- 1 tsp. salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. white wine vinegar (or any clear vinegar)
- 4 Tbsp. barberries
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. white sugar
