Way too salty. 38%DAV is not good. The taste is there but I highly recommend you use low sodium soy sauce. I might even try vegan worchestershire next time.

It could indeed be the yummiest seitan ever. I tripled the recipe and did it in two pans, so that required me to cook it for 20 minutes total. Can't wait to try it in all sorts of things. I kept the soy sauce at 1/4 cup and tripled everything else so it didn't come out overly salty.

As written if you opt for the stock (instead of water) like I did. it is insanely salty and that's coming from a salt lover, but I think the flavour was good and I think if the proportions are tweaked I think it would be good. I'll try again, but with less salt.
