It’s good. Not terrific but good. It needed salt after using three chicken bullion cubes. It would be a good side with other tastier things.

It was awesome!! Delicious and the turmeric shined through! I chopped some parsley and chives to top it off

This was my first time cooking with turmeric and this dish turned out super rich & yummly!
I did tweak the recipe a bit: I already had Better Than Bouillon concentrate & used it as suggested, I added 1/2 cup of heavy cream, & eyeballed a little under 1/2 tsp salt when I test tasted at the end. The recipe originally calls for 6 cups servings, I cut it in half. Between my boyfriend and I, we had enough leftovers to make another full meal the next day. Really happy with this recipe.

This was delish. Didn't change the recipe except had to add more liquid as we are at 6,500 feet. But it was so yum. The 4 of us didn't have leftovers because both kids, 10 & 6, had leftovers! Served with cod cooked in butter and some spices and also asparagus with hollandaise. Very good!

I double the garlic, turmeric, cumin, and bay leaves. I also add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper for some heat and salt. My 3-year-old asks for this “yellow rice” often.

It was OK. We didn't add the turmeric because we couldn't find it at our store so that might have helped.

Very very bland. I added granulated garlic, white pepper, black pepper, onion powder, and more turmeric and it's still super bland. Maybe would be good with some well-seasoned chicken or fish, but I would plan on using your judgement and making adjustments unless you're used to a bland diet. As a household with just two people, I would halve the recipe and still plan on plenty leftover. I think halving it for four people would be about perfect if you wanted none or little leftover.

Great! Everyone loved it! But I used coconut oil instead of butter and added cardamom pods... I would definitely make this style of rice again.
