- 4 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup mushroom (dried, soaked in 1/2 c water and then drained, Save the liquid)
- 1/2 cup porcinis (frozen, thawed, I found these at Trader Joes but they are optional however if you have dried porcinis make sure to use them.)
- 1 minced shallot (large, or 4 minced garlic cloves)
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. sherry
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- salt
- pepper
- 1 lb. linguini (or egg noodles cooked according to package directions in well salted water)
- 1/3 cup Parmigiano Reggiano (freshly grated)
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil (or butter)
- truffle oil (optional)
- parsley (Italian minced, for garnish, optional)
