- 1/3 cup coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
- 2 Tbsp. oil (ex: avocado oil, olive oil, melted & cooled coconut oil)
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups whole wheat white flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 dash nutmeg (and all spice, optional)
- 1 cup diced apples (I used golden delicious, skin on)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. coconut oil (melted & cooled)
- 2 Tbsp. coconut sugar
- 2 Tbsp. whole wheat white flour
- 3 Tbsp. rolled oats (or 2 TBS quick oats)
- 1 dash ground cinnamon
