- 3/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 3/4 cup oat bran
- 1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup)
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. canela
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups carrots (grated)
- 2 apples (peeled and grated)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (I used sliced almonds)
- 3/4 cup fat free milk
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

These are great!!! I didn’t have oat bran so i ground up some oatmeal instead. I used coconut sugar instead of maple syrup. I didn’t have 4 apples, (i dbled the recipe) i had only 3. Next time i would add more coconut sugar, they aren’t sweet enough for me. Coconut sugar isn’t as sweet as white sugar, honey, maple sugar, so u need to add more. I didn’t put in the nuts or raisins.
