  • 1 cup rice (Jasmine or Basmati type pre-washed in water)
  • 1 1/2 cups water (or stock)
  • 1/2 tablespoon oil (Canola, corn)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (each, and Pepper or to taste)
  • 2 slices green pepper (or of red)
  • 2 slices onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic (cut fine or you can use garlic paste as well)

    Directions

    1. First measure your rice, and pour into a sieve, then wash under cold water, put aside.
    2. Measure the amount of liquid you will be using and put aside.
    3. Cut the onion into long slices as well as the red/green pepper and have the garlic ready.
