- corn meal (sprinkle of)
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- 1/4 tsp. herb seasoning (dried)
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 3/4 cup ricotta cheese (whole fat)
- 1/2 lb. mozzarella ball (sliced)
- 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes (green, sliced)
- 5 leaves basil (purple, chiffonaded)
- 1 Tbsp. basil (flowers, the flowering tops of the plant)
- 1 nasturtium leaves (loose handful small, or flowers, we wanted to stick with the green color palate)
- freshly ground black pepper
