- 14 oz. granulated sugar (2 cups)
- 1 lb. butter (softened but still quite cool)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup caramel sauce (salted, homemade or store-bought)
- 4 oz. bittersweet chocolate (finely chopped)
- 1 lb. chocolate candy (coating, I used Merckens brand)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
