I did a few changes such as I used a mix of flour and corn meal, didn't use sugar, added more cayenne pepper. Did not use the salt spices used salt free and just celery seeds. I put the spice rub on the chicken and put in fridge for about an hour befoe dipping I did a double dip and it turned out crispy and the chicken was delicious and very tender. Will make again.

Yeah this is definitely not the Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich. You need to use flour for the breading and not just cornstarch.

Nothing like the Wendy's sandwich. Tasted like disappointment. Or maybe I just suck at cooking
