Did a double batch, only had 1 3/4 lemon juice for the batch but it turned out delicious and tangy! Took out the pulp on the first batch, but not in the second and then mixed them together. If nobody else drinks this, i will have no problem drinking it all myself!

I like this and the benefits of watermelon are next level! I've tried it before with just straight watermelon and it's not bad taste for me as is, so this time I only added bottled lemon juice and 1/2 cup of water as called for, since watermelon is about 95% water, I didn't add ice..and it's already sweet enough for me so no sugar added either....I'll add mint leaves next time for next level flavor as mentioned by a few here.

It turned out ok not the best. It was too sour and no one drank it but it was only a fail for me. Maybe someone else will have better success with it

What a great idea for a drink -- with or without alcohol. It tasted good without any additional sugar, and the suggestion to add lemon zest is something I will try next time.

Super simple recipe and not need to muck it up with unnecessary sweetness, leave out the sugar! If you wanted to take it to the next level, some lemon zest would also be nice.

Refreshing and delicious. No sugar added. Will try with vodka :-) as suggested by others. Mint would also be a nice touch!

How could this possibly be 160 calories, even with a quarter cup of sugar in it? So yummy even without adding the sugar. I agree with a previous post, a little vodka would be good too

I used the same ingredients but I think I added more water and also some salt. It was to die for . I truly fell in love with this. I didn't use your recipe, though. I one day was thinking about how I sprinkle my fruits with lemon beer salt from TWANG, but hated how the water would stay at the bottom of bowl. I thought big I blended the watermelon with lemon juice and added salt, I would basically be getting the same taste and VOÍLA, I aced it!!!!!🍋🍉

I love this on hot summer days. I don't add extra sugar though and never have. Watermelon is very sweet on it's own and adds plenty of extra sweet for my taste. Sometimes I'll brew some mint leaves in the water which adds a wonderful layer of flavor. When I do this I increase the added water to 1 cup.

This is amazingly refreshing. If you don't strain it the pulp rises, so make sure and stir before serving. I used less sugar, the melon was very sweet on it's own, and bottled lemon juice. Also topped it with some lime sparkling water.

I made it and it was so good plus very refreshing 👌🏼 It was easy to do. I would definitely make it again.
