Conjure up a spicy Alfredo sauce with blackened Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage. It’s not magic, it’s voodoo pasta.


  • 1 package smoked sausage (Hillshire Farm®)
  • 16 ounces fusilli (uncooked)
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning (or blackened)
  • 15 ounces Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce

    1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
    2. While pasta is cooking, cut sausage into ¼“slices. Place in bowl and sprinkle with seasoning; toss lightly to evenly coat.
    3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes. Add sausage; cook and stir for 3-4 minutes or until lightly browned. Stir in Alfredo sauce, parsley and hot sauce to taste; heat through.
    4. Pour over pasta and toss until well coated. Serve immediately.

    Delicious, simple, quick! It took me a bit longer because I made the Alfredo sauce from scratch, if you have the time I recommend homemade Alfredo sauce. I also left out the hot sauce because the kids do not like too much spice, it was still fantastic! I doubled the recipe, I believe equal to 8 servings with 2lbs of fusilli and I probably tripled the seasoning amounts than the recipe calls for as I measure to taste. All of my boys enjoyed it including my picky eater 8 year old and mother. In addition, I made garlic rolls to go with the dish. Will be making it again!

    My Husband and I really enjoyed this pasta. I made it in my pressure cooker with roasted chicken broth instead of water for the pasta, metwurst and small penne..what I had on hand. Topped with sliced scallions...SUPER good!!! I will be making this again!!!

    This was delicious!!! It was just the right spice for the family. But however I had added a little bit of onion and with the meat and then I had added mozzarella cheese over the top and put in the oven oven for about 25 minutes
