Best recipe roses well , made chocolate butter cream , or as my mum called it Cocoa butter . Lush cake

Really happy with the result. Even though I completely missed out the 2 tablespoons of milk, because it is not mentioned in the method.

Easy -easy - first time I’ve tried this all in one malarkey- it works!
I made 12 individual cakes in a muffin tin and it was lovely - baked for 20 mins I total.

Very tasty, one of the softest and fluffiest cakes I’ve ever made. The only thing I did different was, I didn’t just put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix. I creamed the butter and sugar first, then mixed in the eggs and vanilla one by one (5 medium and I dish have large eggs) then I added three dry ingredients.
