- 3 Tbsp. corn starch (use 4 heaping tablespoons for very firm pudding – this is what I do!)
- 3 cups milk (I use 2%)
- 1 dash salt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- vanilla beans (from 1 or 2 pods, optional – mostly adds texture)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract (can add more to taste)
