    I was very excited to find this recipe as I am on a low carb diet because I have a beach trip coming up and wanted to lose a few "fast" pounds. I followed this recipe to a T. Although the taste is great, the mouthfeel is not. I felt a thick coating all in my mouth after eating a few bites. I am only assuming from the heavy cream. After churning it till it got to a soft serve like consistency and putting it into the freezer for a few hours to harden up a bit more, it ended up rock hard. I had to let it sit out for about 30 minutes before I could even get a small scoop. I suppose I really missed the "icy-ness" of regular ice cream. It almost didn't even have a real cold feeling to it. But again, the taste was quite good. The consistency, texture and mouthfeel ruined it for me, however.
