just don't add all that salt. first time was inedible following the instructions completely

Very good. I however after reading some of the other reviews decided to tweak it by using the old metaphor Less is More. I also didnt really use any of the salt as some reviewer stated it was too much ontop pf the bacon. But it turned out really good. Am very happy I didnt do the recipe with the full amount of all the seaoning.

This is my favorite fall recipe. I love to make it for other people who aren't familiar with venison. I made it for a family who's husband was deployed. The wife loved it so much that she froze a portion of it for her husband so he could try it.
Currently AllRecipes website is down but thankfully I remember the steps.
