I cooked mine in the instant pot .
I sauté my onions with olive oil then added the tomato paste . I added herbs after I added the beans , broth and I used tomato sauce since I had no tomatoes! I said the instant pot to about 10 minutes on manual. I am going to add my Spinach to the hot Bowl of soup separate !
I like it fresh that way .
The tortilla strips new to me ! I cooked on 350
Baked about ten minutes and I rubbed them in olive oil ! That was a great idea
I will garnish with fresh avocado
I used 32 oz veg broth
15 oz tomato sauce
15 oz black beans
Threw in instant pot for about ten minutes on
Manual . I Will let it vent by itself

Good, but the title should have been "Hot & Spicy" and warned that the prep may have been 15 minutes, but altogether it took 70 minutes to serving time. I can't really rate the recipe itself because of needing to add so many more ingredients to cool the hot spices. It's a good base recipe at least because it was easy to find other things that went well with it, like leftover sweet potato fries with cinnamon & chili powder. Thank you!
