  • 1 cup corn (fresh, canned, or frozen)
  • 3/4 cup red lentils (dried)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

    quick, easy, and tasty. I added a handful of crumbled tortillas to thicken the soup and it came out perfect.

    Sooo good. Just added a bit of salt at the end. Subbed canned green chiles for jalapeños because hubby doesn’t like too much heat. Topped with the the items in the pic plus a dollop of sour cream. Will definitely make this again...

    Love this recipe! It’s easy, no fuss, easy prep. Serve it with cheese, tortilla strips(I use ones that are for salad topping) and sour cream. I’ve also used whole milk instead of cream and it turned out fine. I tweek the spices to my family’s taste, we like it spicy. Would also be tasty with shredded chicken in it.
