This is the most amazing burger ever. I get the lentils precooked from Trader Joe’s- so this recipe takes NO TIME. I’ve made it so many times now that I add other things i find in my fridge as I go.

This is the most amazing receipe! It is super easy to make. We use the patties as buns and put veggies in between, usually tomato, avacado, mushrooms and spinach. Makes being a vegetarian a bit easier.

I loved this recipe. The only change I made was that I used red beans instead of lentils chiefly because I had them soaking in the refrigerator and was looking for a recipe to do something different with them. I normally stew my red beans. I had to add an extra cup and a half of the breadcrumbs don't know if it's because I used the red beans instead of the lentils. This recipe was a hit with all members of the family even my 15 month old. Next time I will use the recipe in its entirety and make my comparison. Thank you for sharing.

I replaced the breadcrumbs with oats to reduce the calories and used black eyed peas instead of lentils. Since the oatmeal doesn't absorb moisture like the breadcrumbs I added 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and 1 tablespoon of flax seeds to make it more dough like. It tastes better than the veggie burgers I buy from the store with fewer calories!!

Absolutely delicious! I had some left over coriander also so I chucked that in with the mix which worked really well.
