    This turned out AWESOME! I only made half the recipe and froze the rest. I didn’t change anything, but I did add half a pound of hamburger. Very very good! Thank you!

    My family loves this recipe minus the celery. I always add veggies that aren't listed and usually skip the potatoes too. This recipe is great to make as your own.

    Yum . Used a can of diced tomato w basil and garlic. Didn’t have celery so threw in some celery seed. Loved it

    I have made this twice already. one time i followed the recipe and it was really good. Second time i used beef broth instead of chicken i also added some italian spice and pepper flakes for abit of heat it turned out great again. I also used diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Loved this recipe thx so much.

    Yummly did it again this soup hit the spot the recipe is plenty for a family of four I needed to add more salt and pepper but that’s just because we like extra flavor I also added some ground turkey for some umph 😊

    Substituted V8 juice for juice from canned tomatoes, added brown sugar to help with the acidity - turned out amazing! Great dinner idea for a cold winter day :)

    I tweaked it a bit based on ingredients on hand, and my husband “stopped after 2 bowls”. He loved it, and our 5 yo did, too. I substituted garbanzos for green beans and added oregano and fresh thyme I had leftover. I also topped the bowl with a little shredded cheddar and chipotle olive oil. I will be making it again! You can play around a lot with this.

    It was a decent vegetable soup. I'm not a fan of vegetable soup so don't go by me. It was heavy and filling and my husband liked it. I'd have some french bread or a salad to help round out the meal. Also, besides the chopping its a breeze to throw together. So on my second batch I switched out the fresh tomatoes with fire roasted canned tomatoes and added 2 tablespoons of Sriracha and a teaspoon of salt.....much better, if you like spicy.
