I like the idea of substituting lentils for ground lamb. tasted good. Lots of work. Note to Nikki: Greeks commonly use cinnamon for dishes like this and pastichio.

Tasted very good, lots of steps and a little time consuming to make

Recipe is super tasteful and delicious. As others have mentioned, it does take some time time to prepare, but its worth the effort. I’d suggest adding some more warm spices, such as cumin, paprika, all spice etc.

I loved it, and so did my boyfriend!!! It took a lot longer to make than I thought it would (it took me 3 hours), so I won't really be making it just for us again, but it was great to try it out before making it for a family gathering! I also made a lot less than the recipe calls for and still have a ton left over. If you follow the recipe exactly you will have A TON.

was not crazy about this meal ,it took way too long for the disappointing out come .Weird ingredient mixtue.Don't understand why anyone would put cinnamon in a main dish.Cinnamon is for baked goods not main dish casserole. Will NEVER make this again 😞
