- 1 cabbage (small, grated)
- 1 carrot (finely chopped)
- 1/4 capsicum (/green bell pepper, finely chopped, I had used red and yellow capsicum also)
- 2 green chillies (small, finely chopped)
- 1/2 inch ginger (grated)
- 2 garlic (pods, grated)
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour (+ adjust, depending upon the water content in the vegetables)
- 2 tsp. starch (cornflour)
- 1/4 tsp. soy sauce (optional)
- salt (to taste)
- oil (for frying)
- 3 tomatoes (large ripe, pureed' in mixer)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic (pods, finely chopped)
- 1/4 tsp. ginger (grated)
- 1/4 bell pepper (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp. chilli powder (I used Kashmiri chilli powder)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. soy sauce (you can add more, if you like the taste and darker colour)
- 3/4 tsp. corn starch (mix in 1/4 cup of water)
- 1 tsp. oil (sesame oil or rice bran oil)
- salt (to taste)
- spring onions (greens, finely chopped, or cilantro)
