- 1/2 tsp. chilli powder (red)
- 1 pinch turmeric powder
- 2 green chillies (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp. Garam Masala
- 1 pinch jeera (Kaala, Black cumin)
- 1 Tbsp. yogurt
- 1/4 lemon (juice from, or 1/2 lime)
- 1 sprig mint
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander (chopped)
- 1/4 cup fried onions
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 7 cups water
- 1/4 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 1 star anise
- 1 cardamom pod (green)
- 1 pinch jeera (Kaala, Black cumin)
- 1 bay leaf (small)
- 1/2 tsp. ghee (substitute with coconut oil/vegetable oil)
- salt (to taste)
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 pinch orange food coloring
- 1/4 cup onion (fried)
- 1 lemon (juice from)
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander (chopped)
- salt (to taste)
- 1 tsp. ghee (substitute with coconut oil/vegetable oil)
