- 1 black cardamom (badi elaichi)
- 5 peppercorns (coarsely crushed)
- salt (to taste)
- 2 Tbsp. ghee (clarified butter)
- 2 Tbsp. oil (I use Sesame oil)
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 2 cups rice (uncooked, You can use Basmati rice, Sona Masoori Rice or Brown Rice)
