Turned out beautifully but I did add salt to the sauce and I mashed the potatoes with salt pepper soy milk and vegan margarine and used tinned tomatoes, Tasted excellent! Thank you for sharing!

Good everyday meal, will make again. Make sure you have tasty tomatoes, if you dont have good tomatoes I think it will probably come out a bit dull.

This turned out very good. I used canned chickpeas. I drained them then mashed one can of chickpeas and left the second can whole. This made for a better consistency, in my opinion.

The recipe was easy to follow and it turned out well. But for those who likw spicy foods, modify the recipe and add a little more chilli.

I added some coconut aminos to the mixture of lentils and mushrooms to "beef" it up. I also added a coupke sprinkles of shredded parmesean cheese to the top of the later of potaoes to help put some crisp while under tge broiler. Tasty recipe.

I thought it was weird to put tomatoes in shepherd's pie so I left out the puree.
Very tasty!
