- 1/2 Tbsp. maple syrup (this only gives a slight sweetness to round out the flavors, but you can feel free to omit or reduce it)
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
- balsamic vinegar (OPTIONAL:, for marbling effect if desired)

i found the rice paper to be moderately difficult to work with. however, the textrue and flavor of this 'bacon' is chewy and crispy. there is a lot of room for tweaking of the flavors, since non veg bacon comes in different flavors, so working with this recipe becomes an art for both flavors and preparation techniques. gets easier and bettter the more you make it
