Did this with coconut sugar and all-purpose flour. Easy to make and delicious! Had the tenderness and buttery taste I expect out of shortbread, elevated further with the addition of cinnamon and pecan.

sooo yummly! no mods. i didnt read the directions at first... figured the steps were like other cookies. so i rolled normal cookie balls and flattened them a little then baked them straight away. turned out wonderful! then i saw the instruction. so the other half of my dough is in log form in the fridge, will bake more off tomorrow! thanks!!
