  • 1 1/2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 onions (finely diced, I used 1 red and 1 brown onion)
  • 1 piece celery (finely diced)
  • 1 carrot (finely diced)
  • 1 chilli pepper (Remove the seeds to make it less hot. Add more if you want a hotter chilli or leave it out entirely)
  • 3 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground all-spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons tomato puree
  • 400 grams chopped tomatoes (I used a tin but you could use fresh)
  • 120 grams green lentils (dried)
  • 120 grams red lentils (dried)
  • 230 grams black beans (cooked)
  • 15 grams coriander leaf (Chopped, cilantro)
