Turned out great and was a hit with my wife and I. Simple and tasty. We needed to add some new variety to our vegan journey and this delivered. This recipe has been added to our repertoire. Also worth noting, adding vegan sour cream as a garnish was well received. I'm going to try Vegan mozzarella with it next time. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Omg this was delish! Caught my non-vegan friend going back for thirds! Amazed at the sweetness of the onions without a vadalia, red & yellow only! I used regular lentils. Great recipe, definitely a keeper.

Yummy! Although I added potatoes and celery to pad it out a bit so it sort of ended up more of a veggie soup. Great base, either way.

Apparently from my understanding, I didn’t know I had to clean these beans off before had to cook them I’m not the cooking type of person but, it was kind of fun making this dish. It’s tasty with the spices I added. I would not use these tiny beans again I’d use some that are a bit larger. I know that may be the purpose of the recipe, but it’s my preference. I didn’t follow the recipe. I used 2 sweet onions and 1 red onion. Everything I used was organic of course. Over all it tastes good, the beans takes forever to get soft I say that because I have never cooked anything from scratch. I’m a out the box or can type of person. Or give me fresh veggies and I’m good but this was definitely a challenge for me. If I can post a pic of my pot of stew I will it’s delish thanks to the person who suggested it thumbs up to you

    Added mushrooms; tasted great.
IT WAS FANTASTIC!! The flavor is so deep and it’s the perfect warm hug on a cold day. Great with bread for dunking.

Just what I was looking for on a cold day. I had to add 3 carrots given the ginormous bag I had in the fridge.
