First of all, let me say that I am an experienced baker and have worked with yeast recipes. However, for whatever reason, this turned out horrible for me. I followed the directions carefully. I used almond milk and proofed the yeast using a thermometer and it did foam up. The rise was not good and this was the stickiest dough. No matter how much flour I added, it continued to stick to my hands, my granite counter, etc. I was determined that I was going to complete this project no matter what. But the end result was very disappointing. I do not think that I would make this again because I am unable to determine what I did wrong.
