The cake was delicious, but it broke in half. I did oil the pan, I don’t know what else I could do so it won’t stick for next time. As for the glaze I’m not too crazy about it, it wasn’t as firm as I wished it was.

The cake is moist and dense. I had to bake it about ten minutes longer than recommended.

A really excellent base recipe! It's very forgiving, so adjustments can be made for your taste. I used WW pastry flour and coconut sugar, that I reduced to just over 1/2 cup. Only had coconut oil on hand which worked just fine and sub'd coffee for the water. I got 9 cupcakes, which I didn't frost but they were they're super light, moist and a not too sweet chocolate fix, anyway.

Super simple! Deliciously moist! And the coffee variation is a great way to mix it up a bit!

I have tried a few recipes but this one seems to be the most moist. Family loved it!
